Struggling Mets shake up roster to help taxed…

The Mets’ current woes have taxed their pitching workers and resulted in a shakeup in the bullpen prior to Wednesday’s recreation against the Braves.

They recalled left-hander Brandon Waddell and chosen righty Jonathan Pintaro to the roster.

They’ll take the spots of the 2 left-handers that had beforehand spent time in the pen, Jose Castillo and Richard Lovelady, who have been both designated for task after pitching in Tuesday’s loss to Atlanta.

The 27-year-old Pintaro pitched in 11 video games at Double-A Binghamton this season — all begins — but will possible be used in a long-relief position with the Mets.
