Sunny Hostin shuts down Alyssa Farah Griffin after | TV Shows

The View’s Sunny Hostin snapped back at her co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin during the latest episode of The View after she defended President Donald Trump‘s economy during his first term in office.

As the panel discussed the current stock market crash following his tariffs and Trump’s recent comments that some children will get ‘2 instead of 30 dolls this Christmas,’ Farah Griffin cut in to defend him.

The former White House employee said: “There are a lot of things we should forget about the first Trump term and he should not replicate, but how he managed the economy is not something I think he should throw out the window.

“He did not do the sweeping across the board tariffs that are gonna cost Americans a ton of money,” she continued.

However, Hostin shut down the former Trump press secretary, saying: “Trump inherited Obama’s economy. Let’s never forget that.”

“AFG, he was lucky that Trump had folks around him during his first term. What you see now, could have been what could have happened during his first term,” another wrote.

A third chimed in: “Sunny, with the facts.”

“Alyssa, please shut the h— up,” one angered fan posted.

One mentioned her nickname ‘Maga Alyssa,’ writing: “Maga Alyssa ALWAYS has pump Trump up. Chica, he owns this economy.”

Farah Griffin worked under the Trump administration as his head communications director before stepping down in December 2020.

Upon leaving, she said she was ‘honored to serve President Trump,’ but would be leaving the White House to ‘pursue other options.’ She later spoke out, saying she ‘saw where this was headed,’ regarding Trump’s controversial presidency.

Following the raid of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, Farah Griffin began speaking out against Trump and later joining The View in 2022.
