Superintendent Defends Boys in Girls Sports With

Let’s face it, issues can sometimes get a little nutty in the deep blue state of Washington.

At Camas High School in the southern portion of the leftist enclave, a male runner apparently determined in September he needed more trophies, so he switched to the ladies’ group — mid-season. Since neither the college nor the state would do something about this perversion of equity, it was some younger feminine athletes themselves who took issues into their own palms. As our Teri Christoph reported Wednesday, they merely walked off the observe when the race began somewhat than permit themselves to be subjected to such idiocy. On Thursday, Washington state Superintendent of Public Instruction Chris Reykdal went on the Seattle-based “Jake and Spike” radio show and talked about Initiative 638, a Nov. 3 poll measure in Washington that goals to keep the dudes out of the ladies’s competitions in Ok-12 sports activities. Reykdal tried to defend the follow with some of the most inane and brain-dead feedback I’ve ever heard.

Although this moronic second comes up toward the end of the clip, I’m going to hit it first because it’s just that horrible a take.

“If your daughter was running against a boy—an athlete who raced as a boy and was 76th, and then had to race against that same athlete on your team—does that seem like a fair situation to you?” requested [host Jake] Skorheim.

Answered Reykdal: “I don’t see it that way, Jake. I just don’t. These are young, developing people whose brains aren’t going to fully develop until they’re 25.”

What in absolutely the… What does their mind development have to do with equity, security, and decency?

By the best way, Chris, you just completely shattered the Left’s arguments for gender “affirmation” care and surgical procedure for minors. What sort of sadist would prescribe such measures just because a child whose mind isn’t totally developed determined they had been born in the improper physique?

Astonishing. Earlier in the clip, he added another Kamala Harris-esque phrase salad, fully avoiding the issue at hand and attempting to make it all go away with some woke babble. Asked particularly about whether or not it was honest that the Camas women felt they needed to boycott the race, he said:

How about a third option, genius: Your daughter isn’t pressured to compete against males in the first place.

Meanwhile, you raised a daughter who performed sports activities. Congratulations! Here’s your medal. But what the heck does any of that gibberish have to do with the query you had been requested: how is it honest to the ladies of Camas — or all the other females who’ve gotten injured, misplaced championships, or missed out on scholarships?
