Susanna Reid made a Good Morning Britain announcement following her prolonged absence from the show.

After three weeks off, Susanna has now revealed she will probably be back on screens this Monday. On Instagram, the broadcaster posted an image of a lit candle alongside the caption: “Happy New Year! See you on Monday.”

Announcing her break, Susanna shared: “Ending on a positive note, our amazing 1 Million Minutes campaign – I just want to say thank you to everybody who has pledged their minutes to the campaign.
“We have a particular programme on Christmas Day however that is my final likelihood to say thanks to you earlier than Christmas as a result of it’s my final programme earlier than Christmas Day.”
Signing off the show, she added: “Good Morning Britain back tomorrow from 6am. Have a pleased Christmas from me, I’ll see you on Christmas Day.”
