Professional wrestler ‘Syko Stu,’ whose real title is Stuart Smith, was released from the hospital on Sunday and revealed the extent of his accidents.
Smith was brutally attacked by Raja Jackson, son of former UFC gentle heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, during a KnokX Pro Wrestling event last weekend. Video of the cruel assault rapidly went viral.
Jackson entered the ring, elevated Smith and slammed him to the canvas rendering him unconscious. Jackson then delivered a sequence of punches before other wrestlers intervened. Smith was left on his back, bleeding, lacking enamel and slow to regain his colleges.
Smith was taken out of the venue on a stretcher by medial workers and was transported to a local hospital. On Sunday, after a week in the hospital, Smith was released to go home. In a social media post, Smith’s spouse, Contessa Paterson, detailed his accidents.
“Stuart has been released from the hospital and is now home resting. He sustained a serious head injury and was unconscious upon arrival at the ER. His injuries include trauma to both the upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several teeth. He has a long road of recovery ahead, but he remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through,” his spouse Contessa Patterson wrote in an Instagram post.

“We are deeply grateful for all the love and support we’ve received during this time. Thank you to everyone who has contributed in any way—whether through monetary donations, food, flowers, or gifts. Your kindness means more than words can express,” the post read. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
The assault was so vicious, some fighters have characterised it as ‘tried homicide,’ and imagine Jackson needs to be jailed. The incident is under investigation but prices have yet to be filed.
