TalkTV star has ‘absolute meltdown’ in Restore Britain | UK News

A phase about Restore Britain on TalkTV despatched anchor Alex Phillips into whole meltdown after the news that a cut up vote between them and Reform UK could lead on to Andy Burnham successful the Ashton-in-Makerfield by-election. Phillips went into a rant on her programme when she delivered the news, with Nigel Farage urging the correct to unite against Labour.

Phillips fumed: “It’s constant messing about, parlour games instead of making policy and doing what’s right for the country. This vain, vile gameplay that goes on and on and on, every single time, because there’s a load of people swanning around going, ‘Hahahaha, oh look at all the WhatsApp messages, ooh which faction are you in?’

“All of this nonsense, running around thinking they’re in a dramatisation of the West Wing… while Rome burns!”

She continued to fume: “I’m fed up with it. I’m fed up with the lot of them.

“I’m angry as anything this morning, because all of these people who are doing it for their egos and their sense of self-importance and their five minutes of fame or feeling powerful, ‘Hahaha my little plot worked’.

Data from Survation showed 43% of votes are likely to go to Burnham, while Reform UK’s candidate Robert Kenyon is at 40%. Restore Britain’s candidate Rebecca Shepherd comes in at 7% – meaning if the votes were to unite, it looks likely Reform could win.

Farage said: “Robert Kenyon is the only candidate who can stop Andy Burnham. This is a two-horse race – nobody else comes close.”
