The Chase Around the World viewers issued the same criticism on Thursday evening (30 July) after tuning in for the latest instalment. Picking up with host Bradley Walsh and the remainder of The Chasers in Lisbon, episode three noticed the groups embarking on a quiz around town as they continued to compete for the £100,000 prize.
As the competitors grew tense, however, followers took to social media, slamming sisters Kati and Amy for their “rude” behaviour on the show. “The sisters have such a bad attitude! Come across as very mean-spirited,” tweeted one. “TheChaseAroundTheWorld the sisters are f*****g irritating, what spiteful, horrible women,” famous a second. “Sorry, but I hate the sisters. They’re f*****g rude! I hope they lose!” remarked a third.
It’s not the first time that Amy and Kati have been called out by followers. Following the season one premiere on 16 July, one viewer took to X, writing: “Amy and Kati (well, mostly Amy) rudely barging passers-by out of the way is doing my head in”.
Since its launch, The Chase Around the World has acquired loads of criticism, with some suggesting that the spin-off is pointless and “boring”.
Just last week, viewers fumed once more after a major announcement was issued at the end of episode two. “Some images in this programme have been created/generated using AI,” ITV declared in the credit.
Furious that the broadcaster has outsourced inventive work to artificial intelligence, which makes use of 23 cubic kilometres of water yearly to operate, a number of penned their frustrations on Reddit. “Very disappointed to see this at the end of the latest episode of TCATW,” wrote one.
