The Price is Right reveals plans for 10,000th | TV Shows

The Price is Right has revealed what the 10,000th episode special will look like. 

The iconic CBS game show is celebrating a huge milestone with almost 70 years of big cash prizes and “difficult” games. 

Just days after its’ last incredible special, The Price is Right will be airing their 10,000th episode.

On Wednesday, February 26, Drew Carey will host the celebration alongside models Rachel Reynolds, Amber Lancaster, Manuela Arbeláez, Alexis Gaube, James O’Halloran, and Devin Goda.

As usual, the cast will invite guests on stage to play fan favorite games like Grande Game, Any Number and Lucky Seven. While the challenges will mostly have the same format, each will be tweaked with a 10,000 theme.

He has previously opened up about why he closes the show this way. During an interview with TV Insider, he admitted: “It’s important to me. I went through a rough couple of years, and I needed to put my mental health first. It was such a help for me to do that and not succumb to sadness or grief.”

The host also closes the show telling the viewers “to spay and neuter your pets,” which he got from Bob Barker, who hosted the show for 35 years before stepping down and giving the reigns over to Carey in 2007.

The Price is Right’s 10,000th episode special will air on February 26 at 11am EST on CBS.
