The View host says ICE officers frontal lobe | TV Shows
Alyssa Farah Griffin is pissed off by ICE’s “indefensible” acts.
During the Wednesday, January 28 episode of The View, the hosts unpacked the latest ICE taking pictures, which noticed 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti get murdered by federal brokers in Minneapolis, Minnesota over the weekend,
The 36-year-old political strategist began off, outlining the 2 frustrations she has with the federal government company’s latest actions. She started, “Rest in Peace Second Amendment,” before hinting at the hypocrisy. “I can’t imagine if a Democratic president walked out and said, ‘You can’t have a gun. You can’t bring a gun. We’re not doing guns.’ People would be up and arms.”
Sharing her second level, she talked about, “What we saw in the streets of Minneapolis is an utter breakdown of protocol by law enforcement.
“Once somebody is disabled, their arms above their head, their shirt pulled over their back, their gun removed from their person, there is not a law enforcement entity in this country who would say the next step is that ten times they should be shot,” the host explained. “That is indefenisble.”
Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino said brokers had been finishing up a “targeted” operation when the person approached his workforce with a “9mm semi-automatic” handgun.
He said the brokers tried to disarm him, but he “violently resisted,” inflicting an officer to “fire defensive shots.” Many consider his story doesn’t add up to the video spiraling through the web, which captures Pretti moments before the taking pictures, filming brokers with his cellphone in the center of the road.
From one angle, an agent seems to push a girl, main to Pretti wrapping his arms around her. Once the agent pushed back against a second girl, Pretti reached his arm out and stood between the 2.
The agent proceeds to spray substance in his eyes. Pretti turned his face away and reached one hand in the air, with no gun in seen sight.
Several brokers bought concerned, forcing Pretti to the ground. The New York Times analyzed the brokers and didn’t establish Pretti had a gun until eight seconds after that they had wrestled him to the ground.
Moments later, 10 gunshots had been heard and Pretti was useless.
The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. EST on ABC.
