The View’s Alyssa Farah Griffin calls Reublicans | TV Shows
The most latest off-year election noticed Democrats sweep a number of key races, and now, as Republicans share varied theories about what occurred, The View’s Alyssa Farah Griffin slammed the social gathering with her response.
Democrats received a number of key races, including the New York Mayor’s race, New Jersey and Virginia gubernatorial races, and also flipped Republican districts down poll in state legislatures.
And while some View followers felt her absence from the ABC show the day after the election was intentional, the pregnant co-host has been back since, including on Friday’s episode, where the response to the election final result was a scorching matter.
After enjoying clips of replies from everybody, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, podcaster Megyn Kelly, and Senator Ted Cruz, moderator Joy Behar introduced the subject to the other girls.
Noting particularly that everybody but Johnson expressed concern, she requested Griffin to weigh in.
Pointing to John son’s remark that there was nothing to “read too much into” because the elections had been “not indicative of what’s to come,” Griffin said the outcomes couldn’t be ignored.
“Virginia is a consummate purple state, and what stood out to me, I predicted the day before that the races would go how they would and the Democrats would sweep, but what stood out to me is New Jersey and Virginia, the margins,” she said. “Both of the Democrats won by about a 10-point advantage. That is significant and not something anyone can dismiss.”
She then shared that the major issue that needed to be addressed for voters was the financial system, and that was what in the end drove the election outcomes.
“But it’s the old adage–it’s the economy, stupid!” she said. “No one feels like their life is getting better, like their dollar is going further, like they can afford basic goods and things.”

She went on to share she felt Donald Trump was falling into the same “trap” former President Joe Biden did when it got here to touting a good financial system but not addressing how a lot people had been hurting, and it had an impact.
“That’s happening right now, We are a year into Trump and he does own this, he doesn’t get to blame it on somebody else,” she said. “So people turned out in droves.”
“The east part is to campaign on affordability,” she added. “The hard part is to actually bring down costs.”
