The Haines Shoe House is a rental home situated in York, Pennsylvania, and is only a three-hour drive from NYC.

It was initially constructed in 1948 by “the show wizard” Mahlon Haines, according to SWNS.

When Haines first constructed the home, he meant to use the quirky shoe-shaped home to promote his shoe shops.

He figured that by making it a vacationer attraction, it will stop people in their tracks and hopefully lead them to his shops.

Nowadays, vacationers journey from all over to do precisely that — they either e book a keep in the 48-foot-long historic home or drive through PA to take footage outdoors this weird yet charming home.

Waylon and Naomi Brown purchased the distinctive home in 2022 and gave it a “light renovation and improvement.”

Before the couple purchased it, the historic landmark was used as a museum and then an ice cream store.

“…the previous use as an ice cream shop did not generate enough profits to keep it going, so I knew the business model needed to change,” Naomi informed SWNS.

After giving the home a little TLC, the Browns listed it on Airbnb — and the remainder is historical past.

“They [guests] love the Shoe House! It is such a fun and unique experience. The property is fun to explore and so special!” the proprietor informed the outlet.

The home is 1,500 sq. ft and is full with three bedrooms, 3.5 loos, a residing space and a kitchen space, according to the home’s web site.

Outside, company can hang around around the out of doors fire pit, chill out in the recent tub or take pleasure in some contemporary air at the lovely picnic space.

Rates per evening vary between $500-$650 — relying on the size of keep and time of 12 months a visitor books for.

The Shoe House’s itemizing has a 4.3-star score — with company raving about it.
