“I have this like gaping hole in my career now that I don’t know that I’ll ever be able to fill,” Bradley confessed forward of the Hero World Challenge, reviews the Mirror US.

He explained, “This isn’t something that you lose the Masters, you lose a tournament, I’m going to work extra hard to get back and win. Being the captain of the Ryder Cup team is not something you can work hard for, it’s just something that’s sort of elected on you.”

Bradley also shared that the period following America’s failure to secure the trophy was the most difficult time of his life. “I mean, the darkest time of my life probably,” he said. “I mean, I don’t know how else to describe it. Certainly, definitely of my career. There’s always this letdown after a Ryder Cup or Presidents Cup regardless of the outcome because the emotions are so extreme.

“It’s a Ryder Cup hangover and you are just exhausted and you are down, you already know. That takes a toll on you. But there’s just, it just was, it just was a robust time. Still is.”

Despite facing heavy criticism for his choices, Bradley expressed his willingness to captain again. “Of course, I’d love to do it again,” he stated, while acknowledging that golf icon Tiger Woods could easily step into the role.

“I’d love to avenge that loss, but that’s not up to me. I believe if Tiger needs to do this, he is going to do it. Tiger isn’t only a hero to all of us that could be on his crew, but he is also an unbelievable chief and a individual that everybody would love to play for. But I’m fairly sure when he needs to do this, he is going to find a way to do it.”

Woods, meanwhile, revealed that he hasn’t received any official approach about captaining the biennial competition.

“No one’s requested me,” the 49 yr previous chuckled. It stays unclear whether or not the PGA of America has really contacted Woods relating to the captaincy position.
