Tom Felton cries as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter…
Tom Felton is making magic occur on Broadway.
The actor, 38, made his debut in “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” on Tuesday, reprising his iconic function as Draco Malfoy from the favored movie collection.
Felton had his first show at New York City’s Lyric Theatre, where the group went completely wild seeing him back in character.
As seen in videos taken during the play, the British actor was met with rapturous screams and applause for almost 30 seconds as he stepped onto the stage for the first time, before uttering his first line: “I need a favor.”

The Broadway manufacturing’s official Instagram account captured the epic second and shared it, writing, “It’s true then, what they’re saying on the train.” Draco says that line about Harry’s arrival to Hogwarts in “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
Another post confirmed Felton as Draco standing alone on the stage going through an empty viewers. “Welcome home, Tom,” the caption read.
According to People, Felton also obtained applause when he said another iconic line from the flicks: “Scared, Potter?”
Other clips confirmed Felton visibly emotional as he obtained a standing ovation during the ultimate bows at the end of the show.

“Cursed Child,” which opened on Broadway in 2018, is set 19 years after the occasions of “Deathly Hallows.”
It brings back Harry, Ron, Draco and Hermione — but particularly focuses on the new adventures of their youngsters, Albus Severus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy.
Felton, who performed Draco in all eight “Harry Potter” motion pictures from 2001 to 2011, is taking on the half again for 19 weeks in “Cursed Child.”

He is the first actor from the unique movies to carry out in the stage manufacturing.
“Being a part of the Harry Potter films has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” Felton said in a assertion in June when his casting was announced.
“Joining this production will be a full-circle moment for me, because when I begin performances in ‘Cursed Child’ this fall, I’ll also be the exact age Draco is in the play.”

Ahead of his first “Cursed Child” efficiency, Felton said on “Good Morning America” that he’s “taken a few tips” from “Harry Potter” co-star and Tony Award winner Daniel Radcliffe.
“I saw him in his first show 10 plus years ago, and now obviously he is a Tony winner and a big inspiration for the reason why Broadway is so special,” Felton said about Radcliffe, 36.
