Tom Hiddleston delivered some thrilling news about The Night Manager during Wednesday’s This Morning look.

The 44 yr outdated actor joined the ITV chat show to focus on the hit BBC One series, which has made its eagerly anticipated return for a second series after a decade-long hiatus.

Series two launched on New Year’s Day with Tom reprising his function as undercover agent Jonathan Pine, who operates under the aliases Alex Goodwin and Matthew Ellis. The unique series finale captivated over 10 million viewers nationwide almost a decade in the past.

The new series has introduced back a number of beloved solid members from the first instalment, including Olivia Colman, Douglas Hodge, Michael Nardone, and Noah Jupe.

Fresh expertise has also been added to the combination, with Diego Calva as Teddy, Camila Morrone taking part in Roxana, Indira Varma taking on the function of Mayra, Paul Chahidi as Basil, and Hayley Squires as Sally.

A surprising twist midway through the new series noticed the return of Pine’s nemesis Richard Roper, performed by Hugh Laurie, in a major shock.

During Wednesday’s This Morning, Tom revealed what lies forward for The Night Manager before the ultimate episode airs this Sunday, February 1 at 9pm.

When hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley pressed him, with Ben, 51, asking: “Is there going to be more, Tom?”.

Tom confirmed the thrilling news: “I can reveal that there will be. There’s going to be more!”

He elaborated: (*3*)

Ben then queried: “So it’s sort of like a second part to this bit of the story?” to which Tom affirmed: “Or a third part to the whole thing. But I think trilogy, we like trilogies. There’s something satisfying about trilogies narratively.”

This led Cat, 49, to playfully inquire: “So will we have to wait another 10 years, sir?” to which Tom assured: “You will not!”.

He added: “We will be sooner than that. We’re going to do it. If we have to wait another 10 years, I’ll be 55!” jesting that he may not be as bodily lively in the show as he is now.

The Night Manager season 2 episode 6 airs this Sunday February 1 at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
