The Trader Joe’s web site also said it has added a bit of sugar to “accent the natural sweetness of the pumpkin and to enliven those warm pumpkin spices.”

While the Monrovia-based chain suggests grabbing a toasted slice and spreading salted butter on it, Reddit had other plans. A trove of Trader Joe’s fans rushed to the post, sharing all the ways to take pleasure in the tasty toast.

One person advisable turning the bread into a candy breakfast option, utilizing it as the base for French toast. Another commented, including a couple of heaps of apple butter to it.

Customers have already tried making the dish, giving it a chef’s kiss.

“We did this morning. Topped with brown butter, pumpkin butter, and maple syrup.”

Shoppers are loving the bread for one purpose: it’s not too candy. Fans declare there’s only a trace of sweetness and “much more spice forward, kind of peppery,” than candy.

Those wanting for a bit of a sweeter deal with, the grocery giant has just restocked its cabinets with tons of other fall favorites — sure to fulfill any candy tooth.

The chain lately rolled out its Apple Cider Donuts and Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake — both priced under $6. The donuts — an autumn important on the East Coast — are made by a family-owned bakery based in western Massachusetts.

Each hand-rolled cake-style donut comes topped with a heaping of cinnamon and sugar, straight out of the fryer. And its secret ingredient — real apple cider — is what TJ’s claims provides it the “moist, fluffy texture and slightly tangy flavor.”

Along with the donuts, Trader Joe’s introduced back its $5.99 Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake. The rotating Mini Sheet Cakes come in a selection of flavors over the yr and as the seasons change, the pumpkin is back.

Each cake is the good “smaller format” and comes with a handy lid to keep the moist cake succulent. TJ’s describes the dessert as a “spongy crumb, flavored by pumpkin purée and warm spices.”
