Ava Gillies, an up and coming Hollywood make-up artist who labored on the billion-dollar box workplace hit Barbie as nicely as Netflix hits Bridgerton and The Crown, was killed in a horror car smash on July 29 at the age of 26. A black Audi A4 collided with her white Volkswagen Polo at 1.20am that morning close to Wrelton on the A170. “We are so proud of your arduous work and success, your BAFTA Connect membership and the alternatives that introduced your profession path from gifted artist to new designer,” they concluded.

Her alma mater, The Delamar Academy of Make-up & Hair, also posted a moving tribute.

Taking to its Facebook page, they posted a black and white image of Ava and penned: “We are damaged hearted to announce that our great and gifted graduate Ava Gillies has tragically died in a car accident earlier this week.

“Ava was an exceptionally gifted artist, and has been successfully building her career since training at Delamar in 2018.

“Ava was a sort, inventive, hardworking and beautiful particular person who can be vastly missed by all who knew her. Our hearts exit to her mother and father and brother, and all her household and pals.”

North Yorkshire Police are persevering with to appeal for witnesses to the accident.
