Trump Appoints New Federal Fraud Czar – RedState

If you have been following along, you have seen a lot of reporting of rampant fraud in our nation, ranging from welfare fraud to Medicare fraud to… nicely, you identify it. We’ve seen some stunning numbers, and we have seen some fairly unrepentant Democrats keen to just let it all go away. Minnesota appears to be ground zero for presumably billions in fraud, and a lot of that money has gone abroad, to Somalia and other locations.

President Trump has determined to do one thing about it. On Wednesday, he took to his Truth Social platform to announce a new appointment and a new division at the Department of Justice.

The president writes:

I’m happy to nominate Colin McDonald to serve as the first ever Assistant Attorney General for National FRAUD Enforcement, a new Division at the Department of Justice, which I created to catch and stop FRAUDSTERS that have been STEALING from the American People. My Administration has uncovered Fraud schemes in States like Minnesota and California, where these thieves have stolen Hundreds of Billions of Taxpayer Dollars. Colin McDonald is a very Smart, Tough, and Highly Respected AMERICA FIRST Federal Prosecutor who has efficiently delivered Justice in some of the most tough and high stakes circumstances our Country has ever seen. Together, we are going to END THE FRAUD, and RESTORE INTEGRITY to our Federal Programs. Congratulations Colin — STOP THE SCAMS!

This appears a logical reply to just the fraud that’s already been uncovered, the rampant fraud of our taxpayers’ money that has to have been going on for years. And it isn’t just in Minnesota. It’s in California, it is in Illinois, it is all over.

These varieties of schemes do not just spring into being in a single day. Not at this scale. Not with this many people concerned. Not in this many locations. Furthermore, it is a near-certainty that we’re only seeing the tip of the iceberg in this fraud scandal, which might be ensuing in rip-offs in the billions. And, as has occurred in Minnesota, a lot of this money has very probably gone abroad, to Somalia, to Venezuela, to Russia, who is aware of?

Resolving this has to go approach past just catching the people who are doing this now, attempting them, and imprisoning them. This goes past shutting down the continued frauds. This new division can have to work with the businesses being ripped off and close the doorways that have been left open that allowed this sort of factor to occur. 

Colin McDonald has a big job forward of him. He’ll need good people working with him, and we want him all the best, because the full drive of the left, who don’t need this money spigot turned off, will likely be opposing him.

And, since I’m already on my approach back to this nicely, bear in mind this: If the Republicans lose the elections in 2026 and 2028, Colin McDonald and his new division will likely be shut down, no matter what they’ve achieved.
