Trump Calls Ilhan Omar a Fraud As the Left Can’t

The fashionable Left doesn’t merely argue coverage anymore. It manufactures which means. And when which means runs dry, it goes buying for martyrs. Every week looks like a casting call for the next saint of progressive politics. Someone must be oppressed, harmed, and then elevated. Because without a sufferer, the motion has no ethical fuel.

Enter Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN-05), who was not too long ago “attacked” when somebody squirted vinegar from a syringe at her. Vinegar. A family condiment. The kind of factor you put on fries, not one thing that sends a democracy into cardiac arrest. Within hours, the press predictably swung into motion. Headlines swelled. The Left leaned ahead in anticipation.

In a post on X relating to Tuesday’s incident, Omar said: 

I’m okay. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work.

I don’t let bullies win.

How inspiring.

Then, President Donald Trump said what many Americans had been already considering. In a telephone interview with ABC News correspondent Rachel Scott, Trump dismissed the incident outright. He said he had not seen the video of it. 

“I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud,” Trump said. “She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her.”

Cue the outrage.

Now, allow us to be clear. Whether the incident was staged, exaggerated, or precisely as described is sort of beside the level. The deeper issue isn’t vinegar. It is the determined starvation for symbolic blood.

This isn’t new. We have watched this film before. And its sequel. At this level, we’re on a Rocky V stage of disappointment.

The Left has grow to be addicted to narrative martyrs. Not heroes in the conventional sense. Not males and ladies who sacrificed, constructed, protected, or stood for one thing bigger than themselves. But symbols. Faces that will be printed on posters, graffiti’d on partitions, chanted in streets, and weaponized against political opponents. You know, an excuse to break the law, destroy cities, and skip work.

Consider George Floyd. His death was tragic. It deserved critical examination and justice where warranted. But what adopted was not justice. It was mythology. A deeply flawed man with a violent prison historical past was transfigured into a secular saint in a single day. Facts had been flattened. Context was erased. Any attempt at nuance was handled as heresy.

Why? Because the Left needed him.

A motion that defines itself fully by grievance must continuously feed that grievance. It must discover new villains and new victims to justify its anger. The downside with our liberal neighbors is that actuality doesn’t always cooperate. So the tales get stretched. Then twisted. Then, finally, fully invented.

This is what occurs when a political ideology loses its ethical compass.

To acknowledge a hero, you must first perceive good. To establish a villain, you must acknowledge evil. But fashionable progressivism rejects those classes outright. Good is whatever advances the trigger. Evil is whatever resists it. There is no goal customary. No transcendent reality. No ethical north star.

So heroes usually are not found. They are assigned.

That is why the Left’s icons are so fragile. One scratch of the floor and the story collapses. Facts grow to be inconvenient, physique digital camera footage ruins the vibe, and court transcripts interrupt the soapboxes. And when the reality emerges, the media quietly strikes on to the next candidate.

The press performs a crucial position in this cycle as legacy retailers no longer see themselves as referees. They are members. Activists with press badges. Their job isn’t to inform, but to anoint. Every incident must be framed as systemic, while every accusation must be amplified. Every conservative doubt must be labeled cruelty. And every progressive determine must be handled as a sufferer first, a public servant second.

But the deeper rot right here exposes an infection deeper than politics.

Now you’ve gotten the brainwashed and mentally deranged satisfied that they’re “brave” and “courageous.” I’m watching these narcissists assault law enforcement, interrupt lawful orders, and call themselves “peaceful protesters.” They are being led like lambs to the slaughter by a propaganda machine that needs to use their blood to write more slogans. 

Every loss of life is tragic. But the Alex Prettis and Renee Goods weren’t born this means. They’re merchandise of a motion that has no customary of morality, no goal reality to lean on, being “tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching… influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.” Galatians 4:14

A society that can’t outline good will finally glorify the mistaken people. A tradition that denies evil will excuse it. A motion that can’t produce real heroes will fabricate them, no matter how skinny the materials.

Real heroes construct. They sacrifice. They inform the reality even when it prices them. They don’t need a press release to validate their braveness.

The Left doesn’t lack intelligence. It lacks grounding. It has untethered itself from any ethical framework older than the last news cycle. And so it lurches from disaster to disaster, desperately attempting to fill a non secular vacuum with political theater. Martyrs are simpler than repentance. Victims are simpler than duty. 

America deserves better than manufactured sainthood and media-assisted melodrama. We need fewer invented heroes and more ethical readability. Until then, count on more syringes, more headlines, and more determined makes an attempt to flip tragedies of foolishness into “clear symbols of systemic issues.”

Because when you abandon reality, symbolism is all you’ve gotten left.
