Donald Trump has doubled down on his initial remarks regarding Rob Reiner’s passing.

On Monday, fifteenth December, the 79 12 months outdated US president posted a “dreadful” message on his Truth Social platform about the Hollywood director, mere hours after he and his spouse, Michele Singer, had been found lifeless at their Los Angeles residence.

Despite widespread calls from critics and supporters to take away the assertion, Trump has refused. During a White House press briefing on Monday afternoon, he reiterated his contentious place, saying, “I wasn’t a fan of his at all,” while talking about himself in the third person.

“He was a deranged person as far as Trump is concerned.

“He was one of the people behind (the Russia hoax). He grew to become a deranged person. I used to be not a fan of his in any manner, form or type,” he said.

This followed his Truth Social post from earlier that day, in which he made further insensitive assertions about the filmmaker.

On his social media channel, Trump began: “A really unhappy factor occurred last evening in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very gifted film director and comedy star, has handed away, together with his spouse, Michele.”

The president alleged the couple’s deaths were “due to the anger he precipitated others through his huge, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a thoughts crippling disease recognized as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.

“He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before,” he continued. “May Rob and Michele rest in peace!”

Numerous outstanding figures, including GWN’s Brian Stelter and Piers Morgan, have condemned the president for his “crude” remarks.

Reiner and his spouse had been found deceased at their California home in the early hours following what seems to have been a deadly stabbing incident.

The Los Angeles Police Department is conducting an investigation into their deaths, while their 32 12 months outdated son, Nick Reiner, stays in police custody following his arrest.

According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department information, he was detained on suspicion of homicide at the LAPD Metropolitan Detention Centre and is presently being held on $4 million bail.
