President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Monday to categorical his gratitude to Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser after she backed his determination to ship in the National Guard and noticed crime charges drop.
“Wow! Mayor Muriel Bowser of D.C. has become very popular because she worked with me and my great people in bringing CRIME down to virtually NOTHING in D.C.,” Trump wrote in an early morning Truth Social post. “Her statements and actions were positive, instead of others like Pritzker, Wes Moore, Newscum, and the 5% approval-rated Mayor of Chicago, who spend all of their time trying to justify violent Crime, instead of working with us to completely ELIMINATE it, which we have done in Washington, D.C., NOW A CRIME-FREE ZONE.”
“Wouldn’t it’s good to say that about Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and even the Crime-drenched metropolis of Baltimore?” Trump continued. “It can occur, and it could possibly occur FAST! Work with us!!!”
“Mayor Bowser’s ratings have gone up, in a short period of time, 25%, and the people of D.C. are thanking her for stopping crime wherever she goes. It’s not a miracle, it’s hard work, courage, and being SMART,” touted Trump.
“The top Law Enforcement Officer in L.A. said, during the riots, and when I sent the troops in early, that they couldn’t have done it without us,” the post added. “They were completely overwhelmed! If we hadn’t gone in early, on top of the Palisades plus fires, L.A. would have lost the Olympics.”
“Congratulations to Mayor Muriel Bowser, but don’t go Woke on us. D.C. is a GIANT VICTORY that never has to end!!!” the post concluded. The complimentary Truth post comes after Bowser praised Trump’s police takeover.

“We greatly appreciate the surge of officers that enhance what MPD has been able to do in this city,” Bowser said at a press convention,” she said during a press confrence on Wednesday. “The distinction between this 20-day period of this federal surge and last 12 months represents an 87% discount in carjackings.”
Despite her nice words, however, Bowser still offered some critique of Trump’s plans. “We know having masked ICE brokers in the group has not labored, and National Guards from other states haven’t been an environment friendly use of those sources,” she said.
Last month, Bowser sang a different tune when she slammed the president’s takeover of the city’s police as an “authoritarian push.” Bowser slammed Mr Trump over his crime crackdown as the U.S. military prepares to patrol the district’s streets after the Republican president branded the capital a “lawless” city.
“This is a time when the group wants to bounce in. To shield our metropolis, to shield our autonomy, to shield our home rule,” she said. “Get to the other facet of this man and make sure we elect a Democratic House so that we’ve got a backstop to this authoritarian push.”
The mayor also slammed Trump’s takeover as “unprecedented,” although she admitted she was not “completely shocked.” According to stories, Trump activated the guard after a former DOGE worker by the title of Edward Coristine was overwhelmed while making an attempt to shield a girl.
