Trump Lays Trap for Democrats on Mamdani, and

As RedState reported, despite House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) grandstanding in setting a speech report in the House of Representatives on Thursday, the “One Big, Beautiful Bill” (OBBB) President Donald Trump needed on his desk by Independence Day is on its approach, netting Trump his most vital legislative victory of this time period so far.

But Jeffries’ and the Democrats’ failure to stop the OBBB shouldn’t be the only large downside on the get together’s plate. The specter of Zohran Mamdani, the obvious victor in the Democrat mayoral main in New York City, still looms giant for Democrats, with the New York contingent in explicit being pressed on where they stand on the anti-American Democrat Socialist.

Democrats are mentioned to be in full-blown panic mode over the pro-Hamas Mamdani, with some feeling they’re in a no-win scenario no matter where they fall on the difficulty of endorsing such a polarizing and divisive determine.

Jeffries, along with Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Gov. Kathy Hochul, have been the three New York Dems most requested about where they stand on Mamdani after refusing to endorse anybody in the first race.

While all have talked about having to have “conversations” with Mamdani to gauge where he’s on the Big Apple’s Jewish neighborhood, they’ve fallen short of backing him as the conferences (presumably) get added to their schedules.

But as he has accomplished many occasions before, Trump lately put the bait on the market on Mamdani, with the seemingly intent to see if any of these holdout Democrats would take it:

As President of the United States, I’m not going to let this Communist Lunatic destroy New York. Rest assured, I maintain all the levers, and have all the playing cards. I’ll save New York City, and make it “Hot” and “Great” again, just like I did with the Good Ol’ USA!

Like clockwork, Jeffries bit, posting this about two hours later:

Stop mendacity about Assemblyman Mamdani.

He is neither a communist nor a lunatic. And New York City doesn’t need to be saved by a wannabe King.

For the report, Hochul, too, also rushed to defend Mamdani:

“I don’t care if you’re the President of the United States, if you threaten to unlawfully go after one of our neighbors, you’re picking a fight with 20 million New Yorkers — starting with me,” Hochul wrote in a post on X Tuesday, alongside a video of Trump implying Mamdani may very well be in the nation illegally.

Taking bets on how long it is going to take before Jeffries, Schumer, and Hochul fold and endorse Mamdani just to spite Trump. My guess is mid-August at the earliest.
