On Saturday, Trump shared in a post on his Truth Social account that he is nominating her for an even more outstanding position — this time while serving to signify the U.S. at the United Nations.

“I am pleased to announce that I am nominating Tammy Bruce, a Great Patriot, Television Personality, and Bestselling Author, as our next Deputy Representative of the United States to the United Nations, with the rank of Ambassador,” he wrote. “Since the beginning of my Second Term, Tammy has been serving with distinction as Spokesperson of the State Department, where she did a fantastic job. Tammy Bruce will represent our Country brilliantly at the United Nations. Congratulations Tammy!” Trump added.

Bruce responded to the president’s announcement on her X account, thanking him for trusting her to continue “advancing America First leadership and values…on the global stage”:

She ended her message of gratitude with emojis representing the American flag and a coronary heart. Seems applicable! Good luck to her as she strikes through the nomination course of in Congress.
