A senior counterterrorism official in the Trump administration is reportedly going through investigation following allegations that she actively pursued sugar daddies to fund her lavish lifestyle.

Julia Varvaro, who, according to her LinkedIn profile, served as deputy assistant secretary for counterterrorism, allegedly obtained 1000’s of {dollars} from males she encountered online.

The Daily Mail reported that one man claimed he gave her $40,000 over the course of their three-month relationship.

The man, who took Varvaro on a number of journeys, said the connection began after they linked on the relationship web site Hinge in December 2025. Executive Robert B. told the outlet that “she was attractive, so I swiped right,” and their first date passed off in January at Minetta Tavern, an upscale French restaurant in Washington, D.C., with a invoice of $1,400.

It acknowledged she was attracted to “a masculine man who’s attentive, protective, and quietly playful for mutually beneficial experiences.”Varvaro denied being on the positioning.

In his report to the Inspector General, Robert claimed, “I did not want a sugar daddy/prostitution relationship, after spending $30,000-$40,000 for vacations, Cartier jewelry, expensive handbags, and various shopping trips.” He continued, “She told me that she does not have college debt because sugar daddies paid for her college education.”

Robert additional acknowledged, “She also told me directly that the $40,000 worth of jewelry on her wrists and ears are all trophies from her sugar daddies.”

Robert indicated he believed Varvaro was “under financial stress” and that “her actions pose a security risk.”

Daily Express US contacted DHS for remark. Multiple sources informed the Daily Mail that the alleged misconduct surrounding Varvaro is comparable to, if not more severe than, the scandal involving former DHS head Kristi Noem’s husband, Bryon Noem, who reportedly paid money to a number of girls he met online while carrying faux breasts.

Upon touchdown in Aruba, Varvaro reportedly made a beeline for the resort’s Cartier jewellery store.

The divorced father alleged that Varvaro insisted she “needed a souvenir” and needed to browse the store before dinner. She also reportedly voiced dissatisfaction with the oceanside Renaissance Wind Creek Resort. “She was like: ‘This is nice, but it’s not the Ritz,” Robert alleged. In a bid to fulfill her calls for, Robert upgraded their lodge reservation to The Ritz at a steep $1,700 per evening.

The points continued upon their return to D.C. “Everywhere we went, she’d always order the most expensive things on the menu, like the Wagyu premier cut of Japanese beef,” Robert claimed.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Varvaro acknowledged utilizing her connections to bypass security traces, but refuted claims of having faculty debt, citing scholarships and her dad and mom’ financial contributions toward her tuition.
