On Saturday, President Donald Trump told reporters he could be trying at a new offer from Iran to end the battle.

“I’m looking at it [on the plane]. I’ll let you know about it later,’ he said. “They told me about the idea of the deal. They’re going to give me the precise wording now.”
He said that they didn’t necessarily have to make a deal with Iran. But if the U.S. would leave right now, it would take Iran 20 years to rebuild. However, he said something very important, “We’re going to do it so no one has to go back in two years or 5 years.”
That sounds like a commitment to trying to get it right now, while they have Iran on the ropes, so we don’t have to revisit the issue at a later point.

Trump also chastised a reporter for asking him if he would restart military strikes. He then made it clear that it could still be on the table if he thought it was necessary, if they [Iran] “misbehave” or “do one thing dangerous.”
.@POTUS on restarting navy strikes against Iran: “I can not inform that to a reporter. If they misbehave, if they do one thing dangerous — but proper now, we’ll see. It’s a risk that may occur, definitely.” pic.twitter.com/bf9Jmgf7M8

He posted that he “can’t imagine that [the deal] would be acceptable in that they have not yet paid a big enough price for what they have done to Humanity, and the World, over the last 47 years.”
That’s a couple of different provides in just a couple of days from Iran. That says to me, they’re arduous up and they’re making an attempt to work out what will get the blockade lifted. So, it is a query of how shortly they’ll crack, and the clock is already ticking.
Miad Maleki, a former senior sanctions strategist and senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, said In a latest interview on Fox News’ “Fox Report, that U.S. sanctions and navy blockades are working.
He noted the U.S. has a level of leverage not seen since 1979, with the regime facing pressure comparable only to the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s.
While the Iranian dictatorship has historically ignored public opinion, Maleki warned that the regime is running out of time, facing imminent oil storage issues and gasoline shortages.
To suppress domestic uprisings, the Iranian government has shut down the internet for nearly two months, costing the economy roughly $50 million daily. In addition, the U.S. blockade is draining an estimated $435 million per day in lost imports and exports.
“They would possibly find a way to continue in a matter of days and weeks, but I do not suppose they will continue to keep in this sort of state of affairs more than a month or two,” Maleki said.
This is a developing story. We’ll present updates as more data turns into out there.
Editor’s Note: For many years, former presidents have been all speak and no motion. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the risk from Iran once and for all.
