President Donald Trump said Iran will be “blown off the face of the Earth” if they continue to assault U.S. vessels finishing up what he dubbed “Project Freedom” — the title of the operation being carried out by the U.S. Navy to escort vessels through the Strait of Hormuz.

In an interview with Fox News’ Trey Yingst on Monday, the president said he believes Iran has turn into “much more malleable” in peace negotiations lately, but emphasised that the U.S. blockade in the area will continue.
