Trump secures peace deal with Iran with signing | Political News

President Donald Trump was ready to secure a peace deal with Iran just in time for his eightieth birthday, officers announced.

According to Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, the deal will end all army operations between the U.S and Iran efficient immediately.

“Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon,” Sharif posted on X.

“The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland. We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement.”

“I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Türkiye for their immense contributions in this regard. With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.”

President Trump shortly took to Truth Social to have fun the deal, asserting that he would authorize the blockade on Iranian ports to be lifted immediately.

“The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all! I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade. Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!” he posted after the announcement of the deal.

Meanwhile, Iran themselves actuually confirmed the deal. Gharibabadi, Deputy Foreign Minister, said: “The text of the memorandum of understanding has been finalized, and the official signing of the Islamabad memorandum of understanding will take place in Switzerland on Friday.”

The deal was reached amid last-minute pushback from Iran, which announced via the state’s semi-official Fars News Agency that the phrases of a deal to end the battle had not yet been finalized and that negotiations would continue past Sunday. Iranian leaders had been reportedly additional enraged and closed off to signing a deal this weekend after Israel attacked Lebanon on Sunday, saying it was particularly focusing on Hezbollah in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

After Israel’s strike, Iran’s top negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said there was “no point” in persevering with negotiations with the Trump administration if Washington doesn’t have the “will and ability” to fulfill its commitments to stop Israeli assaults on Lebanon. Trump accuses Israel of sabotaging deal with Iran

Prior to the deal announcement, Trump took to social media on Sunday to denounce the latest assaults in Beirut’s southern suburbs. Earlier on Sunday, Lebanon’s Civil Defense Ministry said Israel’s assaults had killed three people and wounded six others.

“This morning’s attack on Beirut should not have happened, particularly on a special day when we are so close to a Peace Deal with Iran. Israel has the right to defend itself against threats, but the attack it was responding to was very small and meaningless, nobody was hurt, injured, or killed, and should not disrupt this important process,” Trump wrote.

“We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region, including to Lebanon, and all sides should stand down. There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel. This could be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace — Let’s not blow it!” he added.

Israel’s assault on Lebanon got here after it accused Hezbollah of violating ceasefire agreements by launching three projectiles toward communities in northern Israel.

Pakistan beforehand hinted at a remaining deal

Pakistan, a key mediator between the U.S. and Iran, beforehand announced that a deal to end the conflict was nearer than ever, with President Trump asserting Saturday that it could be “signed tomorrow.” The president added that the Strait of Hormuz would open immediately after signing.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Saturday that a deal was anticipated to be finalized within 24 hours. Each facet was anticipated to signal electronically.
