Trump spiritual advisor urges Americans to donate | Political News

President Donald Trump’s personal spiritual adviser and head of the White House Faith Office Paula White Cain told her followers to donate 10% of their gross income to her ministry, which funds initiatives in Israel.

“I believe that it’s so important to honor God with his tithe. An offering, that’s free will,” Cain said in a YouTube video from Sunday.

“In the last four years, when you think about the difference that you make, by your giving,” she said. “You have helped build a moshav in a village in Israel from the horrific attacks of October 7th. And the greatest thing you do is take the gospel around the world.”

The Paula White Ministries notes that her group has supplied humanitarian help to the moshav in Ein HaBesor after Oct. 7. 2023, when Hamas attacked Israel.

The Ein HaBesor moshav nears Gaza.

Cain said she “stand[s] with Israel”after Oct. 7 2023.

Cain’s response comes during a heightened U.S. and Israel led war against Iran, where nearly 2,000 have been killed in Iran. The strikes against Iran started on Feb. 28.

According to the death toll tracker from Al Jazeera, over 1,900 have been killed in Iran from U.S and Israel-led strikes. Those strikes also killed over 1,200 in Lebanon and a 100 in Iraq.

The tracker shows Iran-led strikes killed 26 have been killed in total at gulf nations Oman, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait.

Meanwhile Iran led strikes have killed four in Syria, 20 in Israel and four in Palestine. Thirteen U.S. military personnel have been killed from Iran-led strikes.

In addition to the war against Iran, Cain’s message comes as a report from the Lancet Global Health notes over 75,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since Oct. 7, 2023. Of the over 75,000 killed, 32,900 are men, 16,600 are women and 22,800 are children and 2,870 are those above 65 years old.

Pew research discovered discovered that from 2022 to 2025, Americans have grown to have unfavorable opinion of Israel from 42% to 53%. The Economist/YouGov survey from Aug. 5 2025 discovered that 45% of voters imagine that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians while 31% disagree.
