U.S. President Donald Trump seemingly threatened to deploy federal troops to another city just weeks after sending the National Guard to the nation’s capital.

The president issued a scathing assault on Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker via Truth Social on Saturday night time, accusing the Democratic chief of failing to deal with crime in Chicago. It comes after White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wildly claimed crime in Chicago is worse than in Islamabad, Pakistan, following Trump’s earlier warnings about his plans to descend on Chicago.

“Six people were killed, and 24 people were shot, in Chicago last weekend, and JB Pritzker, the weak and pathetic Governor of Illinois, just said that he doesn’t need help in preventing CRIME,” Trump wrote.

Ramping up threats, Trump added, “He is CRAZY!!! He better straighten it out, FAST, or we’re coming! MAGA. President DJT.”

The day before Trump’s online threats, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an initiative to defend against “credible reports” he acquired about the federal authorities deploying the army to the city in the coming days.

Emerging experiences recommend that the Trump administration is gearing up to mobilize up to 1,700 National Guard troops across 19 states within the coming weeks amid its crackdown on immigration and crime.
