U.S. President Donald Trump chillingly warned, “You’ll find out,” when requested how far he’s prepared to go to purchase Greenland.

Denmark’s Foreign Ministry announced last week that a number of NATO allies will partake in navy training workout routines and broaden their presence in Greenland.

“We are now moving forward with the whole issue of a more permanent and increased presence in Greenland by the Danish Armed Forces, but also with the participation of other countries,” Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen announced last Wednesday.

“Just as we noticed in 2025, when other NATO international locations took half in workout routines and training actions in Greenland, we are going to also see this again in 2026.”

A “substantial contribution” of Danish fight troopers arrived in Greenland Monday after a small quantity started deploying from a number of nations late last week following Trump’s threats to seize the nation by drive.

“It is not likely that military force will be used, but it is not ruled out,” Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen said Monday. “So of course we must be prepared – it is the responsible thing to do, even if we do not expect it to happen.”

Shortly after, Trump announced that he was slapping steep tariffs on eight European NATO nations, escalating tensions between the U.S. and Europe.

Days later, he leaked non-public conversations between him and European NATO leaders, including NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and French President Emmanuel Macron.

“I had a very good telephone call with Mark Rutte, the Secretary General of NATO, concerning Greenland. I agreed to a meeting of the various parties in Davos, Switzerland. As I expressed to everyone, very plainly, Greenland is imperative for National and World Security. There can be no going back — On that, everyone agrees!,” Trump wrote Monday on Truth Social.

“The United States of America is the most powerful Country anywhere on the Globe, by far. Much of the reason for this is a rebuilding of our Military during my First Term, which rebuilding continues at even more expedited pace. We are the only POWER that can ensure PEACE throughout the World — And it is done, quite simply, through STRENGTH!”.
