Donald Trump has stoked new fears amid his battle with Iran, threatening to obliterate the world’s largest natural fuel area and warning, “I will not hesitate to do so”.
On Wednesday, the president used Truth Social to declare that the US would “massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field” if Iran launches another assault on Qatar.
This risk from Trump adopted Iran’s missile strike on Qatar in retaliation for an Israeli assault on the South Pars area earlier that day. It comes after Trump’s unusual response after discovering the new Supreme Leader’s inappropriateity.
In the same fiery Truth Social post, Trump asserted that the US was unaware of Israel’s plan to assault Iran’s main natural fuel area, a transfer that considerably escalates the Middle East battle and has brought on global fuel costs to skyrocket.

Trump further alleged that Iran, mistakenly believing the US had foreknowledge of the attack, “unjustifiably and unfairly” targeted a portion of Qatar’s LNG Gas facility in retaliation.
As Brent crude oil, the global benchmark, surged to $114 per barrel, stoking growing concerns of a worldwide energy crisis, Trump pledged that Israel would cease all attacks on South Pars. This is the Iranian sector of the world’s largest gas field, situated offshore in the Persian Gulf and co-owned with Qatar.
