Right-wing American journalist Tucker Carlson and his workers had been reportedly detained in Israel on Wednesday following an interview with an American official. 

Carlson, a former Fox News host, was in Tel Aviv to interview American ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, who had challenged the journalist to communicate to him instantly following criticisms of Israel. The Daily Mail first reported on the detainment.

“Men who identified themselves as airport security took our passports, hauled our executive producer into a side room and then demanded to know what we spoke to Ambassador Huckabee about,” Carlson told the Daily Mail in a assertion. “It was bizarre. We’re now out of the country.”
