“It’s absolutely happening,” says UFC CEO Dana White about a UFC event happening at the White House next yr.
While talking at an event at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on July 3, President Donald Trump announced that the White House will host a UFC event in 2026.
“Every one of our national parks, battlefields and historic sites are going to have special events in honor of America 250, and I even think we’re going to have a UFC fight,” Trump said.
The idea for the White House internet hosting a UFC event was the brainchild of the president.
“I didn’t ask. He brought it up to me,” UFC CEO Dana White told the IMPAUSIVE podcast with Logan Paul. “He’s so proud of the White House and he loves it so much. He loves America. He believes that the White House belongs to the people of America.”
“That’s his thing. He wants to bring more Americans to the White House, to experience the White House. His thing is, ‘this is your house.’ So, yeah, I was lucky that he said we should do a fight here.”
Since the announcement of the event, high-profile fighters have been lobbying to be on the struggle card. White plans to construct the best event attainable and would really like to see former two-division champion Conor McGregor in the headlining slot.

“What I want to do is build, you know, the best card we’ve ever built that will make people just go crazy,,” said the UFC CEO. “It will be live and free on CBS from the White House.”
Trump’s relationship with the struggle promotion and White dates back many years. UFC 30: Battle on the Boardwalk happened at Trump’s Taj Mahal on line casino in Atlantic City in February 2001. The venue also hosted UFC 31: Locked and Loaded three months later.
