Ukrainian veterans begin training German troops | Political News

Ukrainian instructors with frontline fight expertise have arrived in Germany to practice German troops, according to Lt. Gen. Christian Freuding, Inspector of the German Land Forces, Kyiv Post reported.

Freuding told German newspaper Welt that the training started before Easter at a number of Land Forces navy faculties. The purpose of the training is to adapt German troopers to the realities of fashionable warfare, with a focus on safety against drones and their efficient use in fight.

German armed forces are also seemingly to benefit from Ukraine‘s expertise with fashionable command-and-control systems.

Currently, Ukrainian specialists are conducting training at the Tank Forces School, the Engineer Forces School, and a devoted unmanned systems training heart.

In early March, Freuding told GWN that Ukrainian navy instructors would help practice Germany’s military as Berlin prepares for a potential Russian assault on NATO by 2029.

According to the German newspaper Der Spiegel, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed the settlement on Friday, February 13.

The training focuses on artillery, drone warfare, armored operations, engineering, and command-and-control systems — areas where Ukrainian forces have quickly advanced under fight situations.

Referring to Western intelligence assessments, Freuding warned that a doable large-scale Russian assault is approaching, as soon as 2029.

Germany has educated 1000’s of Ukrainian troopers since 2022 on Western systems, including Leopard tanks, Marder infantry preventing automobiles, artillery, and air protection platforms.

On Wednesday, Germany revealed its first complete protection strategy since World War II, naming Russia as the first risk to European security and warning of a potential confrontation with NATO.
