Uninsured Bryce Mitchell begs someone to set his | MMA News

Bantamweight Bryce Mitchell is a 12-fight UFC veteran that doesn’t have health insurance coverage. He suffered a damaged nostril in training on Tuesday and took to social media to beg for someone to set his nostril for free.

“Thug Nasty” posted a video to instagram displaying his badly crooked nostril stuffed with gauze drenched in blood.

“Searcy can anyone help me please? can a dr reset this for me? i dont have medical insurance ill pay cash if u want money,” Mitchell captioned the video..

“I’m in Searcy, Arkansas right now. I need my nose straightened out. I just got it broken. You can tell, it’s sideways or whatever,” Mitchell said in the video. “Dude, the doctors are so expensive. They’re like $2,000, or some sh*t just to set my nose. Can somebody in Searcy by the grace of God please set my nose back straight for free? If you could fix my nose for free in Searcy, Arkansas right now send me a message and I’ll probably go to you instead of the doctor because this is probably going to be thousands of dollars.”

Mitchell posted a follow-up video revealing he did discover someone to repair his nostril for free.

“Hey, I wanted to let ya’ll know I’m doing really good. I wasn’t in pain at all, so that was really good. For whatever reason it just didn’t hurt the whole time,” Michell said. “But I was worried because I didn’t know exactly what to do and I didn’t know if it would ever comeback straight again. That was my main concern, but I’m totally healed. Thank the lord. God, thank you so much for healing me.

“Also, I apologize for trying like a cheapskate because proper when that occurred my mind went to primal, survival intuition and I began pondering, ‘Oh man, this goes to be costly. What have I achieved right here? This goes to be 1000’s of {dollars} to repair, and it is a disgrace that’s where my mind went to but that was my main concern.

“My buddy did fix it for free, but I’m going to try not to be a cheapskate next time. I’ve been to the doctor, honestly have not had a problem paying with what I’ve been charged,” he explained. “One time I got a big piece of wood stuck in my hand and it was only $600 to get it out and it was worth it. When I ripped my nuts in half, it was only $1,250. That was the best $1,250 I’ve ever spent, so I really do feel I was being a cheapskate asking everybody to do it, somebody could help me out so I could save like a thousand bucks. But my buddy Josh did help me out and I did save like a thousand bucks, so thank you God and thank you Josh King and thank all of ya’ll for your concerns.”
