Son of former NFL star and University of Alabama defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. was arrested over the weekend during the Crimson Tide’s bye week.
Kirkpatrick Jr. was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on Saturday for three counts of reckless endangerment, one rely of trying to elude and rushing, jail information obtained by AL.com revealed.
The sophomore defenseman was later launched on $1,500 bond hours after being arrested.

The investigation is being dealt with by the University of Alabama Police Department.
Authorities had not launched particulars about the circumstances of Kirkpatrick’s arrest.
“We are aware of an incident involving Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. and are working to gather more details at this time,” a University of Alabama athletics spokesperson told the outlet.
Kirkpatrick Jr. is the son of former Alabama standout and All-American Dre Kirkpatrick Sr., who performed for the Crimson Tide under legendary school soccer coach Nick Saban from 2009 to 2011.
The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Kirkpatrick Sr., now 36, with the seventeenth total choose in the first spherical of the 2012 NFL Draft.
