US to offer Ukraine security guarantees if troops | Political News
Washington has indicated to Kyiv that U.S. security guarantees are conditional on Kyiv agreeing to a peace deal that would contain surrendering the Donbas area to Russia, the Financial Times reported, citing eight people acquainted with the talks.
The Trump administration has instructed it may present Ukraine with more weapons to strengthen its peacetime military if Kyiv agreed to withdraw forces from the components of the jap area it controls, the outlet reported.
