Venezuela has announced a “massive mobilization” of army property in response to the United States’ buildup of warships and troops in the Caribbean Sea.

Land, air, and sea army property will conduct workouts through Wednesday, according to Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López, who characterised the deployment as a response to the “imperialist threat” posed by the U.S. build-up.
