A runaway pig dubbed “Wilbur” despatched Angelenos on a wild chase over the weekend after the surprisingly speedy swine was noticed hoofing it through West Hollywood.
The weird pursuit through streets and alleyways was captured in a viral TikTok.
“There’s a pig in West Hollywood!” Jamaal Harrison said in a clip posted to his account. “We gotta catch the pig!” Harrison said he was driving down the road when he noticed what he initially thought was a loose canine.
“I, basically, was riding down the street when I saw what I think is a little puppy, and it’s not a little puppy — that’s a pig!” Harrison told CBS.

What adopted was a chase around city with Harrison on an e-bike in the West Hollywood and Fairfax space, with Wilbur managing to evade him and others hoping to get him to security and out of the roadways.
The little black and white pig ran through the streets and finally Harrison misplaced monitor of it, but posted his footage on social media where Wilbur shortly turned into an online sensation.

Wilbur’s journey got here to an end when the animal was in the end captured and taken to the Los Angeles Animal Shelter. The pig will reportedly be held there until Aug. 20, to give its proprietor the prospect to come ahead and declare it. If no one does, Wilbur will doubtless be transferred to a facility better suited to caring for pigs.
