Wheel of Fortune fans rage as they suspect | TV Shows

Fans of the beloved gameshow Wheel of Fortune are fuming after ABC failed to show the new episode of the series, and instead ‘glitched’ as it displayed a commerical for the Drew Barrymore Show on repeat.

The incident, which happened on May 6, was quickly picked up by fans after the show didn’t air at its regularly scheduled time.

Fans stormed social media, as one said: “Trying to watch wheel of Fortune with the family but I think ABC is having a glitch right now.”

Another asked: “@ABC what’s with the 45 Drew Barrymore commercials instead of Wheel of Fortune?”

“OK FOLKS 9 NON STOP DREW Barrymore ads and no Wheel of Fortune. 7:00PM Tuesday,” yet another added regarding the Tuesday episode.

A final angry fan asked: “WTF is going on??? Where is Wheel of Fortune?”

The latest season of Wheel, which marks the longtime show’s 42nd cycle, is Ryan Seacrest‘s first time hosting the gameshow.

The television personality took over for Pat Sajak, who retired nearly a year ago.

Hostess Vanna White, who has been with the show for over four decades, remains on the board.
