Fans of Wheel of Fortune are divided over Vanna White‘s bold outfit choice during a recent episode.

The hit ABC game show’s letter-turner has faced scrutiny for her outfit choices in the past, with her most recent outfit bashing occurring last month after she wore capris and a long-sleeve top with white puffed cuffs.

Now, fans are conflicted over the 68-year-old’s latest outfit, which she wore as she appeared alongside co-host Ryan Seacrest in a new clip on Instagram. She donned a black halter top and a leather skirt, which she paired with a chunky belt.

White, who made her Wheel of Fortune debut in 1982, sparked a huge reaction with her new look, with fans rushing to the comments setion to voice their mixed reactions.

One wrote: “I LOVE this look. She looks amazing! I enjoy the fancy ball gowns of the past years, but switching it up with a fun outfit like this is good too.”

On a Reddit board called Vanna’s Outfit Tonight, the poster wrote: “I loved Vanna’s dress she was wearing tonight. Purple does happen to be my favourite colour so I am a little biased but I thought she looked great.”

One fan agreed in the comments section, writing: “I loved her dress! I like lilac purples. Perfect for Spring!”

Another added, recalling the celebrity’s cuffed outfit last week: “I love vanna period. the dress was definitely better than her cuffs she had on the other day! i like 90% of her outfits. i wonder what her closet looks like.”

A third said of the cuffs: “Those cuffs prevented the letters from ‘turning.’ She had them pulled up after the first few puzzles.”

Fans joked about White’s cuffed look last week as she took her place next to the letter board, rushing to Reddit with their thoughts on the look.

One joked: “Did she take her hands to the veterinarian and get cones on them so she can’t scratch herself? Wonderful outfit other than the sleeve cowbell cuffs.”

A viewer pointed out that the sleeves “impacted her ability to do her job.”

At the end of the episode, Ryan Seacrest asked her about the look and White admitted she “had to fold them up a little bit” so “the laser wouldn’t catch it.”

In March, the host revealed she has worn over 8,000 gowns on the show in the last 40 years. She has worn a different look on every single episode except for one instance in 2020.
