When is Red Cup Day? Starbucks reveals date for this years event. Heres how to get your free holiday cup.

’Tis the season to gather your reusable crimson cup from Starbucks. The coffeehouse chain announced in a Monday Instagram post that it will likely be bringing back Red Cup Day on Nov. 13.

“Red Cup Day is a beloved tradition for Starbucks customers, and we’re excited to bring it back to coffeehouses on Thursday, November 13,” the post from Starbucks reads. “When customers purchase a handcrafted holiday beverage at a participating store, they will receive a reusable red holiday cup, while supplies last.”

Starbucks, which has confronted criticism over its labor practices in current months, also assured clients that the shops can be “investing in staffing” in order to assist Red Cup Day.

“More of our baristas will be in stores to greet customers, craft delightful beverages, and spread holiday cheer,” the Starbucks account continued in the caption. “We’ll see you then!”

Starbucks launched reusable cups in 2022 on Red Cup Day, but the espresso chain has long celebrated the holiday season. Each 12 months, Starbucks replaces its typical espresso cups with a festive seasonal model, a custom that started in 1997. Last 12 months, the chosen designs for the cups, of which there have been 4 different varieties, featured geometric shapes in crimson, inexperienced, white and pink.

Earlier this month, Starbucks also unveiled this 12 months’s holiday drinks. Customers might be ready to order the peppermint mocha, caramel brulée latte, iced sugar cookie latte and iced gingerbread chai when Starbucks launches its first spherical of holiday objects on Nov. 6. The chestnut praline latte and eggnog latte might be accessible later in the season.

On the food aspect of the menu, Starbucks will deliver back the snowman cookie, cranberry bliss bar and sugar plum cheese danish on Nov. 6. It will also introduce clients to new objects just like the polar bear cake pop and cinnamon pull-apart bread.
