The NBA has a number of storylines in the news cycle now that the season is in its home stretch and groups are jockeying for playoff place and superlative awards. However, for the past two weeks, there was no storyline as polarizing and mentioned as the Atlanta Hawks theme night time collaboration with Magic City. Pundits, gamers, and social media pontificators have all weighed in following the public assertion launched by San Antonio Spurs bench participant Luke Kornet. BOSSIP beforehand reported on controversy and the next cancellation of the event that was announced last night time.
Hawks followers who really live in Atlanta voiced their displeasure that the workforce folded to the NBA while these speaking heads who have zero investment in town or followers yap disingenuously about “protecting women and children”.
Current ESPN persona David Dennis Jr. made it plain in a different method.
According to the Toronto Sun, former ESPN host Michelle Beadle, a white girl, shouldn’t be one of those people righteously indignant speaking head. Beadle took Kornet to process for his unmelanated meddling during a latest episode of Beadle & Decker.
“As a woman, I am not offended by the idea of Magic Monday,” Beadle said. “I can not say this enough, Magic City, for anybody who’s been to Atlanta, it’s not just a t—- bar. I really feel like that’s kind of the vibes that perhaps people are getting.“
She continued:
“Secondly, and more importantly is, thanks, White Knight. We don’t need this. I’ve had enough of males telling us what we will and shouldn’t and what we must always need and what we must always need and how we must always act. No. No, no, these are usually not trafficked 12-year-olds, OK? We have that and none of those people are being introduced ahead. This shouldn’t be that. These are grown-a– girls who have a job.“
The fact that people keep attempting to insist that the Magic City dancers are being intercourse trafficked, pimped, and in any other case abused says more about their views of girls’s company than their faux makes an attempt to “protect”.
