Wild Video Captures Plane Striking Bakery Truck | Political News
A bakery truck driver had a very scary state of affairs that he did not anticipate on Sunday.
The driver, Warren Boardley, had traveled from Baltimore to New Jersey, heading to his vacation spot just off the New Jersey Turnpike close to Newark Liberty International Airport.
That’s when this occurred.

What occurred?
According to Chuck Paterakis, vice president of transportation for Schmidt Bakery and proprietor of H&S Family of Bakeries, the tractor-trailer concerned belonged to Baker’s Express and was en route to ship bread merchandise to a Newark airport depot.
“The driver experienced a commercial plane’s tires landing on the tractor or brushing the top of the tractor,” Paterakis told ABC News.

The aircraft was making an attempt to land at the airport, but got here in too low and also hit a mild pole. How does one end up going so low? One has to assume there are going to be a lot of questions that are going to be requested there.
Fortunately, despite the very scary hit, the driving force, who was taken to the hospital, only suffered minor accidents from glass to his arm.
“The trailer is not damaged, and the bread product was not touched,” Paterakis said.
Despite the collision, the plane landed safely. There had been 221 passengers and 10 crew members on board, and no accidents had been reported among those on the aircraft. United said the plane taxied to the gate usually and sustained only minor harm.
“Our maintenance team is evaluating damage to the aircraft and we will investigate how this occurred,” United Airlines said in a assertion. “We will conduct a rigorous flight safety investigation into the incident and our crew has been removed from service as part of the process.”

Paterakis summed up how fortunate everybody was, given what occurred.
“Everybody, the driver and everybody on the plane, should be very fortunate,” Paterakis said. “Because it could have been the opposite of what happened, and a little help from God went a long way tonight for everybody on the plane, and including the driver.”
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board confirmed they’re investigating the incident.
