Zelensky says Trump agreed to deliver Patriot | Political News

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed on supplying ammunition for the Patriot air protection system.

Zelensky said, “I spoke with President Trump, and I received – I won’t say how many – PAC-3 missiles for the Patriot system.” He made the remarks while speaking with young people at the Second National Forum of Talented Youth and answering a question about the results of his visit to Davos, Ukrinform reported.

“We talked about global matters, but we also resolved an issue that clearly reflects why I went there,” Zelensky said.

A day after Zelensky and Trump’s assembly, discussions started in the Emirati capital. In the UAE, Ukrainian and Russian negotiators have begun talks. The key issue stays territorial domination as the U.S. pushes for an settlement. Friday’s Abu Dhabi talks have been the first direct public negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv on a U.S.-backed plan championed by the President Donald Trump’s administration is to end the conflict.

“The talks commenced today in Abu Dhabi and are scheduled to continue over two days, as part of ongoing efforts to promote dialogue and identify political solutions to the crisis,” the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
