On the twenty fifth anniversary of the terrorist assaults on 9/11, there have been a lot of sobering recollections.
We recalled people taken from us by those brutal actions and the many heroes who gave their all, even their lives.
There have been also considerations about whether or not people had forgotten and whether or not people today have been embracing extremism.
We even noticed a man run onto the sphere at Yankee Stadium at 9:11 on 9/11, waving a Palestinian flag and disrespecting the day. The Yankees had 9/11 commemorations earlier, before the sport. The crowd despatched that man a message, chanting “USA! USA” at him as he was tackled, and then they threw drinks at him as the security and the police eliminated him.
