Revisiting American Pickers Rob Wolfe and Frank | TV Shows

American Pickers’ Frank Fritz died in September 2024, but contrary to popular belief, he wasn’t engaged in a  feud with his former co-stars. 

The show, which is hitting the road again for new episodes just months after his death, has been blamed for “scripted clashes” between Frank and Mike Wolfe, but fans were still convinced they may have been real. 

Now, as Mike reflects on loss and new beginnings, some are still wondering what the real story was between him and Frank. 

However, despite the claims they had been feuding, Mike’s brother, Rob, said something differently after Frank’s death. 

He quickly put the rumors to rest, admitting that while Frank had left the show years before his death, things were still good between him and the rest of the cast before he died. 

Frank himself  said that he hadn’t stayed in contact with Mike or talked to him in two years. 

“He knew my back was messed up, but he didn’t call me up and ask how I was doing,” he said at the time. “That’s just how it is. The show is tilted towards him 1,000 percent. I can’t even bend that far down to show you how much.”

“That’s fine. It’s like you’ve got Aerosmith and there’s Steven Tyler and he’s the front man. I found my spot, I’m second and he’s number one on the show.”

“That’s no problem with me, maybe he does have a problem.”
