Former New York Giants star and Fox NFL Sunday analyst Michael Strahan has shared an emotional account of his daughter’s battle with a uncommon type of mind most cancers. His daughter, Isabella, was identified with medulloblastoma after experiencing extreme complications, issue strolling, and frequent vomiting.

The analysis revealed a quickly growing tumour on her mind. The 20-year-old first made her situation public in October 2023 and has since documented her 18-month journey via a number of rounds of chemotherapy to being declared cancer-free in July final 12 months.

Isabella underwent her first surgery on her 19th birthday in October 2023, followed by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and two additional surgeries due to an infection from the initial operation.

“She wasn’t eating a lot,” he admitted. “She was skinny and drained and bald and all of the belongings you hate to see your child undergo. I do not know how she did it.

“I knew she wouldn’t quit. She was going to fight – and she did.

“I used to be struggling myself with it. I all the time say that she is a lot stronger than I’m.”

Strahan revealed that Isabella is now recovering well and has hope for the future. “Her medical doctors really feel very assured, she’s going to be tremendous,” he said.

“That’s what we’ll maintain on to, however you are nervous each time.

“That will never go away but as long as the results come back positive, then we’ll live to fight another day.”

Reflecting on her battle in an interview with Town and Country Magazine late final 12 months, Isabella admitted that it has given her a new perspective on life.

“I’m happy to be here. I think this year has made me stronger,” she expressed. “The people in your life are what makes it enjoyable. Now I don’t say no to anything. I don’t think I’ll do it next week. You don’t know what next week will look like.”

Strahan and his household at the moment are set to seem on an ABC show on February 5, which can doc Isabella’s restoration.
