We’re right here to recap episodes 1-4 and dissect the scandal scene by scene. If you thought your own work drama was messy, this new microseries will gag you additional. There’s never a uninteresting second at Metropolitan, an Atlanta company under menace when a stunning AI-generated deepfake surfaces, one that may deliver down the firm while the whole metropolis watches it crash and burn.
We meet Zuri Reynolds in the first episode. The formidable younger AI specialist is nervous about assembly Metropolitan CEO Nia Whitmore and pitching her artistic strategy to the group. Her fears are justified: Nia swiftly rejects Zuri’s concept, satisfied that artificial intelligence has no place at the company. Just then, everybody’s telephones start going off. A video has gone viral of the 2 ladies showing a lot nearer than anybody thought. Nia and Zuri fiercely deny that it’s actually them in the video.
In episode two, Metropolitan scrambles to comprise the chaos set off by the stunning video, which has left the entire workplace questioning what’s real. Zuri explains to Nia that it’s an AI-generated deepfake created to seem like them. Who’s behind the video, and what do they need? As the new woman in the workplace, all eyes are on Zuri and her mysterious past.
Things heat up in episode three, when Nia and Ray, the artistic director, meet privately in her workplace as they fight to work out who may be plotting to injury Nia’s popularity. In Atlanta, it may very well be anybody. They close Nia’s workplace door behind them, hiding the true nature of their relationship.
The plot thickens in episode 4 when personal images of Zuri seem online under the deal with @Ballerina_Bae. The workplace is once again gripped by the latest scandal sparked by the risqué images of the new woman. Zuri is just as shocked as the remaining of the group, but Nia wonders if she’s secretly plotting the downfall of Metropolitan, and her along with it.
