‘I’m Waiting on the Consequences’ – RedState | Political News

Border Czar Tom Homan poked enjoyable at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her menace suggesting there’d be a “problem” if Trump administration officers arrested Democrats for obstructing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

In short, Homan let Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) know that one of her colleagues fooled around and discovered. Now the ball is in her court.

Appearing with Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Tuesday, Homan responded to information that Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell is under investigation for allegedly “aiding and abetting” unlawful immigrants.

Ingraham opined that the newest information would depart Democrats “caterwauling” over the Justice Department pursuing native officers for making an attempt to impede law enforcement.

Homan seized the alternative to reply to AOC’s petulant menace.

“Well, remember just a couple weeks ago, AOC went on social media saying if we put a finger on any of her co-workers — Congresspeople that were at our Newark facility — there would be consequences,” Homan stated.

“Well, guess what? We did it. I’m waiting on the consequences.”

He’s referencing feedback made by AOC in one of her wide-eyed social media posts, in which she threatened that if lawmakers are held accountable for their actions, she would take motion.

“You lay a finger on someone, on Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, on Representative … on any of the other representatives that were there, you lay a finger on them, we are going to have a problem,” she warned.

AOC is ramping up her rhetoric.

She says if the DOJ lays a finger on any of the representatives who stormed an ICE facility then “we are going to have a problem.”

Goes on to say, “they can’t come for all of us”.

Democrats Plan to Ramp Up ICE Obstruction Visits, Don’t Care if They Get Arrested

Homan initially laughed at the menace, sarcastically saying he was “extremely intimidated” while including that the New York socialaist was “full of” one thing.

“When you cross that line, we will ask the Attorney General to prosecute, and that’s what we’re doing.”

That’s exactly what occurred just days later.

Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) was caught on video swinging fists and forearms at federal law enforcement officers exterior the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in Newark, New Jersey, earlier this month. She has been charged with assaulting and impeding those brokers.

Several Democratic lawmakers have since introduced that they plan to ramp up efforts related to those that led to McIver’s arrest, even suggesting they’re unconcerned about being charged themselves.

Homan went on to promote the message that ICE plans to “flood the zone” when it comes to so-called “sanctuary cities” making an attempt to evade law enforcement efforts.

“The (Nashville) mayor is no totally different,” he continued. “Look, I’ve said from day one, you cannot cooperate with ICE if that’s what you want to do, but you can’t get in our way, and you can’t impede our efforts. Or you cross that line, we will seek prosecution.”

Nobody is above the law. McIver discovered that out. What will AOC do about it?
