If you’re previous enough to bear in mind when Bill Clinton was president, you’ll recall that he was a silver-tongued, energetic politician who might fire up his supporters and excite the Democrat base—that is, at least, until he met Monica Lewinsky.
There is little of that fire left in the two-term president, as he has for some time now appeared low-energy and not significantly passionate. On Sunday, however, he confirmed that he can still drop some all-time whoppers when the time is correct.
Appearing on “CBS Sunday Morning,” the previous president minimized the mental decline of Joe Biden and appeared to suppose it unimportant that the Democrats and the media perpetuated one of the all-time political hoaxes of our time by trying to conceal it from the public.
He appeared “on top” of issues, Clinton mentioned, one way or the other maintaining a straight face. What planet is he residing on?
While talking with correspondent Tracy Smith, Clinton was requested about the bombshell e book “Original Sin” written by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios journalist Alex Thompson, which claims that Biden’s aides lined up the politician’s declining cognitive and bodily health during his ill-fated reelection marketing campaign.
After Smith requested Clinton if he had ever had “a moment with [Biden]” where he felt that he was “unfit to run for president,” Clinton responded, “No. I thought he was a good president.”
“The only concern I thought he had to deal with was, could anybody do that job until they were 86?” Clinton continued, referring to Biden’s age. “We’d had several long talks. I had never seen him and walked away thinking ‘he can’t do this anymore.’”
Clinton added: “He was always on top of his briefs.”
“He was always on top of his briefs.” Good to know.
Even the interviewer appeared greatly surprised by Clinton’s frankly ridiculous assertions:

Sharing that he noticed Biden “not very long ago,” Clinton mentioned that he “thought he was in good shape.”
The former president mentioned that he wouldn’t be studying “Original Sin” because Biden was no longer president. Perhaps the true motive is that he merely doesn’t need to know what is in it.
When I used to be youthful, I begrudgingly revered Bill Clinton for a time because he wasn’t as divisive and excessive as in the present day’s Democrats. He famously made holding respect for him a lot tougher to do and received impeached in the method.
